J.A.C's Learning World
About Us
J.A.C’s Learning World caters for children from 15 months old up to school aged children; this consists of a Toddler group, Pre-Kindy group and Government Approved Kindergarten program.
Throughout all our age groups we operate an indoor – outdoor program where all children have the flexibility to choose areas of interest in which they participate throughout the day, as individuals and as part of a group, this underpins the basis of our routine. Our daily routines give children flexible access and opportunity where their individual needs are catered for.
We strive to ensure our environments are homely, relaxed and a safe place in which children and their families feel confident and comfortable. Educators seek to provide a physically safe and emotionally secure setting where children can explore and experiment with a variety of materials and experiences in a supportive, confidence building atmosphere that promotes physical, emotional, intellectual and social growth.
Our Program
We endeavour to follow each child’s emerging interest and incorporate these into daily experiences, building on and scaffolding learning to suit individual learning abilities. Our approach to planning curriculum focuses on being responsive to children's interests to create meaningful learning experiences. Our philosophy prioritises active participation, relationship building, flexible and adaptable methods and play-based learning.
Our curriculum is child-initiated, collaborative and responsive to each child's needs. We uphold the dignity and rights of each child to learn and grow in an environment which offers opportunities that reflect the holistic way children learn and grow in the wider community, experiencing responsive and reciprocal relationships with people, places and things.
To support and reinforce the educational program we value input from parents and caregivers who are, after all, the first teachers of our children.

As part of our commitment to providing your family and child a positive, quality early learning experience, we've partnered with Kindyhub to be able to deliver you with daily updates on your child’s day.
Rating and Assessment
Children's education and care services covered under the Education and Care Services National Law are assessed and rated against the NQS. (National Quality Standards) The process reflects a uniform approach to assessment and reporting across the range of services. The relevant regulatory authority in each state and territory undertakes the assessment and rating process. Ratings promote transparency and accountability and help parents assess the quality of education and care services available.
J.A.C’s Learning World was rated Exceeding National Quality Standard on 23rd April 2021.
Early Years Learning Framework
At J.A.C’s Learning World we support the Early Years Learning Framework through our principles, practices and outcomes.
The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) conveys the highest expectations for all children learning from birth to five years and through the transition to school. It communicates these expectations through the principles that focus on assisting all children to make progress in relation to learning, principles of early childhood pedagogy underpinning practice and five learning outcomes that are designed to capture the integrated and complex learning and development of all children across the birth to five age range.

Our teachers and educators capture your child's achievements throughout the day and share them with you via the user friendly J.A.C’s Learning World, Kindyhub App.
Sustainability
We believe it is our duty to teach children responsible sustainable behaviour from an early age and are committed to taking an active role in caring for our environment, by minimising our impact on the planet, working together to lead by example.
Environmental learning opportunities and experiences are accessible daily to children as they engage in experiences with our educators and environment. J.A.C’s Learning World is currently working towards obtaining our final level of the Small Green Steps Program. The small green steps program is a sustainability program specifically developed for the early learning sector, the program has been developed by Sustainable Directions Pty Ltd and is designed to help early learning services embed sustainable practices.
Kindyhub is a communication tool, allowing us to easily share your child's J.A.C’s experience with you at the end of each day.
